A passenger named Auditya Venkatesh was trying to book a flight ticket from Hyderabad to Bengaluru. When he chose his desired flight with AirAsia and went ahead to confirm it, he was in for an odd surprise. His arrival and departure confirmation were all mixed up in a popup on his screen. The popup indicated that he was booking the ticket from Bengaluru to Bengaluru. Moreover, it showed that the ticket was being booked from Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru to Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. A confused Venkatesh then took to social media and shared his ordeal. He also tagged the concerned airlines. And as expected, netizens flocked to the comments section with hilarious responses.

The airlines soon responded to the technical glitch and asked Auditya to refresh the page and make a fresh booking. The passenger replied and wrote, “The fact that it’s a glitch is obvious. It did the same thing again, it was to edit an existing booking via the chrome browser on an Android phone. It still keeps showing the same thing. I still went ahead and booked it, because it was a last minute change. Fingers crossed.”
